BRIEFLY TECHNICAL DISCUSSION

Control System: The NICE3000new by MONARCH is a high-performance integrated elevator controller that combines advanced drive and control technologies in one compact unit. Designed for modern elevator systems, it ensures smooth, safe, and energy-efficient operation, precision control for ride comfort suitable for residential and commercial building.

Motor: The gearless design of the motor ensures minimal maintenance, low noise levels, and exceptional ride comfort, and low power consumption, making it ideal for modern elevator systems.

Car Operating Panel (COP): The Car Operating Panel (COP) will be equipped with micro push button-type controls and a 6.3” LCD display, providing clear floor position and direction indication, and operational status messages for enhanced user experience and monitoring.

Landing Operating Panel (LOP): The Landing Operating Panel (LOP) will be equipped with micro push button-type controls and a standard LCD display, providing clear floor position and direction indication, and operational status messages for enhanced user experience and monitoring.

Cabin and Cabin Door: Cabin wall and cabin door panel made of stainless steel sheet grade 304 thickness 1.2mm.

Ground Floor Door: Made of stainless steel sheet grade 304 thickness 1.2mm and  door frame will be wide jamb with transom.

Others Floor Door: Made of stainless steel sheet grade 304 thickness 1.2mm and door frame will be narrow jamb.

Frames: The frames, including the cabin frame, counterweight frame, and motor base frame made by structural steel assembly, ensuring high strength, durability, and the ability to safely support both static and dynamic loads encountered during operation. To enhance ride comfort and reduce operational noise & vibration, the overall car design incorporates elastic isolators strategically placed between metal components.

Door System: VVVF door operator and hanger will be used for smooth door opening & closing operation.

Guide Rail: Special T-shaped (T75-3/B) solid guide rail made of high-grade steel are mainly used as a cabin guide rail, ensuring smooth and stable elevator movement while hollow type (TK5A) guide rails are used for the counterweight.

Hoisting Rope: The hoisting steel wire rope (grade 1570 N/mm²) with fiber core will have a minimum safety factor for hoisting ropes is 12.

Counterweight: A counterweight will be provided within a suitably guided sheet steel frame, with provisions for appropriate filler weights to ensure smooth and economical operation.

Traveling Cable: A long-lasting, anti-corrosion, durable, and flexible flat-type traveling cable with the required number of wires will be used.

Buffer: A suitable energy-absorbing hydraulic buffer will be installed in the shaft pit to ensure the safety of both the car and the counterweight.

Painting: All exposed areas of ferrous metal components, such as the frames, guide rail
fixing brackets will be coated with rust-protective paint. This protective treatment ensures long-term durability, prevents corrosion, and enhances resistance to environmental and weather-related conditions.

Maintenance Control: The controller and car top will be equipped with a maintenance button, up and down buttons, and an emergency stop button.

Over Load Device: If the car is overloaded, the lift will not start, and a buzzer will sound to indicate the overload condition.

Overspeed Governor: An overspeed governor is a topmost safety protection device designed to prevent the elevator from exceeding its speed limit. It continuously monitors the speed of the elevator. If the elevator exceeds its rated speed, the over speed governor will cut off the motor power and apply the brake upon activation of the safety gear.

Safety Gear: Elevator safety gear (Progressive type), activated by an overspeed governor is crucial safety device that prevents the elevator car from falling in case of malfunctions like cable failure or excessive speed. It works by gripping the guide rails when the car exceeds a predetermined speed, halting the car’s descent and ensuring passenger safety.

Limit Switch: The limit switch prevents the car from traveling beyond the top or bottom terminal landings, ensuring safe and controlled operation.

Final Limit Switch: The final limit switches cutoff the safety power if the cabin over-travels at either the top or bottom terminal landing. This is a double protection to stop the cabin in case the limit switches fail to function correctly.

Cabin Door Contact: The cabin door is equipped with an electrical safety contact. The lift will not operate if the door is not properly closed.

Cabin Door Photocell: A full-height photocell safety sensor is used on the cabin door to prevent accidents.

Landing Door Contact: All landing doors are equipped with electrical safety contacts. The lift will not operate if any of the doors are not properly closed. If any door is opened by unlocking with a key, the lift will stop immediately.

Landing Door Lock: All landing doors are equipped with a mechanical locking system, which allows them to open automatically when the cabin door is aligned with the floor level. Otherwise, the landing doors will remain closed.

Manual Evacuation: In all landing doors provide key operated emergency unlocking system for evacuation of passenger in case of power failure or lift stop during travel for any kind of fault as well as for maintenance.

Automatic Evacuation: In case of power failure car will move automatically nearest floor by ARD operation to evacuate passenger.

Emergency Light: In case of power failure an emergency light will light up the cabin at least thirty minutes by a battery backup lighting system.

Alarm Bell: In case of power failure or lift stops during travel for any kind of fault a battery backup alarm will remain operated for at least thirty minutes.

Intercom System: In case of power failure or lift stops during travel for any kind of fault a battery backup intercom system will be operated for at least thirty minutes to communicate with others for necessary help.
